please help me!I want to start a company ^-^

hi guys! hope that you can help! i got a text message really late last night and i was hungry and i got a wicked idea for a company! so i think that combine txt msg and tex mex to make ... duhduhduh ... www.texmexmsg.com ~!!

anyways, my idea for company is to make a website that people send text mesages to and it will give you free mexican food. there are lots of mexican restaurant in boston, so the text mesage can go to unique mexican restaurant and person will get different food everytime - kind of like lottery =) i can team up with place like felipes, anna's, boca grande, qdoba, rudy's, and more. what do you guys think of my idea??? is it good one?? can you help me do it???? thanks!!!! i think start this company is better than work for my really crap job! =)

and also, please don't steal my website idea!!!!

you-down-with-<span class=keyword_link><a href=/resources/skills/trading-investing/securities-and-exchange-commission-sec>SEC</a></span>:
Jefferies SA class of 2009.

I have to agree with you down with SEC...either you work for Jefferies or State street. State street takes people without undergrad degrees and jefferies takes the state schoolers. Im guessing your a state street.

hi guys, and i can do chipotle and boloco too (becoz i ask my frd and he mention these 2)! what do you think??????

nextdoorhobo:
1) get text message 2) send free food 3) ??? 4) profit!

you might want to work on step 3

3) Send Add-On Coupons/Ads

"where is the profit?"

I do not think start ups have to worry about this anymore. If you have 1MM people sign up, you will figure out how to make money.

One of the best things I have heard is that if it sounds like a good idea, it has already been done. This sounds interesting, stupid, and just might turn into something. I can think of 10 ways to monetize this.

I have not followed if "blumie" trolls.

I would also call this textmsgmex

hi guys..... thanks for your ideas! i didnt think thru all the details yet because the idea just thought up yesterday. i just think that text msg and tex mex sound very similar and textmexmsg is a very clever site that many people will use! i think can team up with the phone company and stuff so when people send text msg, we can get some of the money from the phone company and make it like a subscibed services (like the free ring tones on TV) and we get paid from that. maybe something else if you guys have ideas??? thanks!

p.s. i see that episode of south park too and i think its very funny!! jejeje =)

jackofalltrades:
why ban him? his posts are a great way to break the monotony of "which offer should i take" and "this bank vs. this bank" and "news-from-yesterday" posts.

Blumie, what number would the customer text? it has to be memorable and clever too.

How about 666-6666

i just tried this and ordered a taco supreme and nachos

was delivered in 11 minutes by a naked blonde "10" who stayed for 30 min and gave me a backrub

Aimez:
It reminds me of a mix of "groupon" + "freestuff.com" + "smspup"
I'm going to go with this. However, this is blumie we're talking about, sooo yeah

ConanDBull:
idea swiped... bring this to toronto and i make KILLING$$$
I was wondering when someone would do it.

BUILD a company, don't ask for 'help' aka people to do it for you.

Lesson learned.

Blumie...you are a genius...i am willing to devote my life savings to promote this with you...please PM me so we can "get the ball rolling" and attack this UNTOUCHED (but perfect) market with everything we've got

Hahaha. Sweet.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

Your better off starting your own restaurant and using that as a service alternative to calling an order in. Weird Idea but a text messaging orders to specific restaurants and having them fulfill them may be a better way to order. Like seamless but without the extra cost of fees that seamless charges the restaurants.

Why buy when you can sell!!
