Commercial Banking Credit Analyst --> Private Credit, is it possible?

I recently began an internship as a Summer Credit Analyst at a BB commercial bank in a Southwest city (Austin, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix) and was looking to learn more about transitioning to a full time role as an analyst at a Private Credit Fund. Is this transition possible out of undergrad our would analyst roles primarily be allocated to those with internships in IB and LevFin

Additionally, if I were to receive a full-time offer as a Credit Analyst upon completing my internship would my prospects of transitioning to a Analyst(Associate?) role at a Private Credit Fund be more or less likely say after 2 years or so of experience?

If this jump weren't possible from the full-time Credit Analyst position, what would be the next logical career decision to put myself in route for Private Credit post the full-time stint?

Thanks!
