I usually post on the IB forum but this is probably best suited for the PE guys.
I'm a 1st year IB analyst at a MM, in a corporate banking role. my group does basically the same thing as LevFin but for investment grade clients.
I know the "typical" PE feeder IB groups are levfin or FS, so I'm wondering how common it is for someone with a corporate banking background to break in to PE.
What will be my biggest obstacles / doubts from interviewers? Thanks guys.
