Would a Deal Strategy role or M&A Transaction Service role (both in Big4, but different firms) be better if I ultimately want to exit into PE?
Also, would choosing which Big4 be a significant factor or should I focus more on the role itself more?

You are daydreaming if you think transaction services will help you in exiting to PE role. Deal Strategy might help but Transaction Services not at all. They work with financial advisors does not mean that you can exit to PE
Could you elaborate more on how deal strategy would be more useful for PE?
or would exiting into IBD first even be a better option?
