At entry level, you can expect around INR60000. It is definitely seen with a discount. Unless you are from India, I wouldn't consider it (assuming you currently have a job). Why are you interested? Did you get an offer? I had a friend get an offer at KKR (not sure if it was capital markets), but he decided against it.

@kinghongkong - that sounds absurdly low - i am currently employed by a BB outside of India so if the figure is correct, I wouldnt consider it as well. But I would be surprised if that were the case - personally I would expect INR 45 lpa (including bonus, or about USD 80k) atleast
