PE FoF vs Consulting

Hi All

recently moved to the UK and need some advice.

my last role (in Asia-pac), was at a PE FoF / Coinvestor, but I got a bit bored of the type of work I was doing.

thought consulting might be a good next step, ended up getting an offer with BCG London.

I’ve also ended up landing an offer as an associate with a UK based FoF / co-investor (much larger than my last one).

Normally it would be a no brainer to take BCG, but the FoF comp is ~70-80% higher than BCG, seems like a lot of money to leave on the table….

I’m worried about exit opps if I take FoF (my home country isn’t as large as the UK or US so that industry is quite smaller), but the $ is very attractive.

thoughts?
