PE Technical Skills

Just recently started as an Associate at a MM firm and want to continue to build up my technical base. Does anyone have any actual good resources that are helpful? Feel like the WSO PE guide is pretty useless to be honest.

Specifically looking for in depth details on NWC and CCC.

Not sure what you mean by in depth detail on NWC- are you asking how it’s modeled, how it’s defined, how it’s negotiated in a purchase agreement, etc.? A lot of the small technical details that come up can be googled on an ad hoc basis or you can ask a team member.

The best guide for learning is probably going through past deals in your firm’s shared folders. Look at the models, the issues that arose, the thesis, etc. and that will be a better guide than anything you can find online.

Really a mix of all the above. Currently have been googling on an ad how basis, but would be helpful if there was a comprehensive description discussing how NWC affects a transaction.
