Should I take the offer from a small Real Estate Private Equity fund or keep on searching for more opportunities?

Hi guys,

I am currently doing an off cycle internship at a respected Real Estate Private Equity Fund in their continental European office. (And the team has no headcount so it won't convert into full-time position)

I have recently received an FT offer from a small not well known REPE fund based in London which mainly targets around 5~10MM equity ticket size (tho this might go up depending on the opportunity and asset class) value-add/opportunistic investments.

The team looks really nice and the work also looks very interesting, but I am still hesitant with accepting the offer.

The only issue is that, I feel like it'd be more difficult to get exit opps compared to the peers with BB IBD experiences. Right now I have a competitive advantage as I've done REPE internship in a great fund, but not sure about after working in a small, lesser-known fund compared to the others.

I still have a few more months to finish my internship, so should I wait a bit more to find other bigger opportunities? Or since Real Estate is Real Estate is Real Estate, would it still be possible to exit to bigger funds at Analyst 2 level?

Looking forward to advices from people who have done/seen the similar moves.
