Successful Entrepreneur - Path to raising a PE fund?

8 years ago after two years in equity research, I managed to buy an €8m business in an LBO with no money down. I leveraged connections I had at a commercial bank and low-interest rates to get it. I have now repaid the debt almost completely and I am looking to sell the business for 12m. Given that my equity was zero my IRR is infinity but even if I had put 20% down for the business my IRR would have been very high. Given this good LBO, I am looking to continue in the business and buy a company in the 30-40m range. However, I was wondering if I could either join a pretty well-respected PE firm as a partner in London or even directly raise a PE fund. I think that raising a PE fund could help me scale quicker and achieve huge levels of wealth faster than just continuing on my own. Additionally, I would be investing OPM and so I could protect some of the capital I built and take on less risk.
