Summer Intern Offer - L/S Equity vs. PE

Background: undergrad junior, non-target LAC (went to school in the mid of nowhere)

I am choosing between the two options below. The first one is a return offer from last summer, and the second is a program for a summer internship placement. Which one should I pick if I want to end up in an FT front office role in IB/PE/ER/VC/GE after graduation? What would the ranking be for the second one? Thanks in advance!

  • MM PE, ESG/Sustainability team intern
    • FT offer after graduation is not guaranteed, depending on their capacity/needs
    • no modeling, not on the deal team, just portfolio company (ESG) operations
    • ~$3 bn AUM, generalist, very traditional industry focus
  • a summer internship placement (with no FT potential) at one of the following firms (all with the deal team); I have to rank my preference
    • LMM PE, ~$400 mm AUM
      • buyout & recapitalization
      • location is not great (Mideastern suburban area)
    • L/S Equity, ~$2 bn AUM
      • a small L/S equity firm that no one knows (< 15 people team)
      • primarily focus on Europe, investing across the globe
      • based in NY & the south
    • Growth Equity, ~$1 bn AUM
      • invest in SaaS, made quite a few pretty good investments since inception
      • based in the south
