Is anybody familiar the The Davis Companies in Boston, MA? Currently considering applying for an open role there but the information available online is scarce, if not negative from a culture perspective. Interested to know:
- How they stack up against other PERE shops in the area?
- The firm's / executive leadership's reputation in the area?
- What the firm's culture is like?
- How competitive their compensation and benefits are?

Super well respected in Boston - last fund was about 650m. Just a guy who built a real estate empire. Gets super sick attachment points on really interesting projects. Has debt / distressed experience fromsfrom GFCmGFC be a good place to be right now.
They are trying to start investing outside the Northeast which may impact returns especially as the sourcing machine may have difficulty expanding.
Any idea on compensation?
