Unsure if I should even try for IB

I’m currently on an internship at a PE company I do accounting and models. Going into my 4th year and ill be leaving with between a 3.7 - 3.9 GPA. Hoping to have CFA level 1 in November. I’m not at a target school or anything.

Any advice? I’ve considered extending my degree a year to try and land an IB internship I’ve heard those are easier to break into.
