Dilemma: REIT Analyst Role in Boston or Brokerage Associate in Austin?

First time seeking advice on WSO here but facing a big dilemma on what to do. Some background is I went to school on the East Coast have friends in Boston, and the analyst role pays more off the bat. Except, I enjoy the communication and hustle aspects of brokerage much more, and in all honesty, I don't really want to go back east. I visited Austin last weekend and absolutely loved the city, and I feel like the pandemic is a better time than ever move somewhere different and try something new.

So the main question here is take the risk and go to Austin or sacrifice some desires to take the more stable job in Boston?

From what you are saying, It sounds like you would kill it in TX.. New role in a new city.. might sacrifice a bit of compensation early on, as you noted... However, in the long term it sounds like this is the move that will benefit you the most. Good luck and congrats
