Energy Investment Banking to Real Estate PE / AM?

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has any experience or know how difficult it is to move from oil and gas investment banking after two years as an analyst to real estate private equity or asset management? I did a year and a half internship at JP Morgan Asset Management in their real estate division, but besides that - don't have much experience in real estate, only energy.
