Kiwi aiming for management consulting
Dear friends,
I hope all is well. I recently spoke with an alumni working at BCG about management consulting and he advised me to forward a resume. I have uploaded my resume and I was wondering if you could give it a look and perhaps suggest some changes/improvements if possible.
I am a rising senior at Duke and I am looking at management consulting firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG among many others.
I have excluded this summer thus far as I have yet to start my study abroad program in Rome or my research project in Italy that will be funded through the Robertson Foundation but I could add these if you think they are suitable and relevant.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Whatazarian
Put the education section at the top. It's your biggest selling point.
Btw, I fully intend to move to NZ at some point in my life so I can call myself a Kiwi.
Thank you for the advice and I appreciate the compliment mate!
Take out everything from high school, it is no longer relevant.
Nice work on the Robertson -- I'd probably explain that in a full bullet line if I were you. And yeah, take out the high school stuff
Looks solid, but Persian/Farsi is the same as Dari minus a few words, someone might try to call you out. I'd just put fluent in Farsi. I would also put education on top. Does Duke have a consulting club? I would join that too.
