Please help with my awful resume

I know it's bad compared to most of the hot shots on here. But I would love some help with it.

I am pursuing a career in energy fiance in Houston. I would like to be working on a fuels or power trade floor.

Any help y'all can offer in terms of content and/or formatting would be much appreciated.

This is actually pretty good. Beef up your most recent internship, you MUST have done something interesting there. Also, quantify results, even if you have to get a bit creative with the truth.

Thanks UFOinsider, it is nice to hear that a veteran here sees value in my resume.

The extent of my internship was developing options models for the hedge program. I know, not the most intriguing thing in the business but it was good experience. Aside from scheduling for the traders, I didn't do much else. How would you (or others) suggest "beefing up" my internship. I am open to being creative with the truth.

Thanks for the great suggestions so far.

If you're scheduling led to more profit, you now "contributed to growth of X percent". Don't just list the tasks you performed: frame them in terms of your overall contribution. This shows that even if you didn't get to do a certain type of work, you understand what is going on and have more potential than the guy that just details his daily routine.

Also: take pride in what you've done. Be confident in the knowledge that you're moving in the right direction. Don't ever put down your own situation just because someone, somewhere may be accomplishing more at the current time....it's not going to help and will only hurt.
