Please roast my resumé, student trying to break into FP&A
Hello,
I am a student in my second year out of 4 years. I am in a regional target school but not a national one. Trying to gather as much relevant experience as possible at the moment, mainly interested in FP&A.
I would really appriciate any and all feedback!
Controller:
Your first bullet point has the word budget too much - Would reword the second bullet, it sounds like management had no idea what was going on - you are missing an S for profit on the third point, also analysis should be plural "analyses" - assuming you did this more than once so "analyses" for the fourth point as well / get rid of then / also make it "to provide performance insights and support critical operational decisions / data-driven is repetitive since you have already said you analyzed the budgets / again analyses for the last point / don't need to put straight line modeling / P&L should be plural since everything else is
Board Member:
The first point is a sentence fragment
Maybe add in how many members and turnout %
Financial Assistant:
"Owned accounts payable" - not sure what that means
the word payments should be singular since you've used the word "an"

I will leave the rest to others. But the bottom you can just consolidate the languages into one line and then say Technical Skills: --- list them - Also get rid of the thing in italics at the top
