Resume Review - Consulting Goal

Hey Everyone,

I'm redoing my resume to apply to consulting firms in Denver and Houston. I'd appreciate all the advice and criticisms you are willing to share. I'm specifically wondering:

1. Should I put on my SAT and GRE (SAT is ___ math ___ verbal and GRE is ___ percentile math, ___ verbal).

2. Should I put on relevant coursework (I have almost a major's worth of business courses and I did a thesis on modeling ______)

3. Should I highlight my leadership experiences in a bigger way than they are in the activities section currently?

4. Should I change the actual names of my intern position to something more consulting-related ie: ____ Analysis Intern to _____ Improvement Intern?

4. I have a lot of other work experience, from part time jobs at restaurants (where I trained new employees and managed kitchens) to tutoring students all throughout college to grassroots political work, should I put any of these on?

Thank you.

Responses: 1) Yes 2) Yes 3) Yes, create a separate 'leadership experience' section 4) Yes 5) Don't put these on if they're not relevant/don't show an interest (all of your ones could seem to have a relevant 'spin' added to them - ie. your restaurant work shows leadership and grassroots political work shows an interest etc).

General: 1) Strong CV, not much I'd change. 2) Put your 1st and 2nd 'professional experiences' under the same main heading, do sub-headings for the different positions

Great thanks Mutt,

I was wondering how I put 2 summer positions under 1 heading format-wise, do I do the position 3 bullets then another position 3 bullets?

My only concern is that I'd have to really reformat to list the leadership in a seperate section or drop off some of the education and job things. If it's worth it though I'll do it.

I accomplished this by just leaving out the company name and formatting it just like the previous postion: http://www.razume.com/documents/31698
