Resume Review Urgent please :-)

Hi,

just discovered this site and even though I'm currently working in the Middle East and will be applying to investment funds here, I would love to get input on my current resume. It has little work experience but any advice would be helpful!

See if you can get the format to work properly in razume (subtext: if that's how your resume is actually formatted, you should really fix it.)

Congrats on being fluent in multiple languages. I see you originally studied in Montreal and then in Milan. Especially if you have a foreign-sounding name, you may want to write "native English speaker" since you've studied and worked abroad.

But yeah, I assume those indents are not half the width of the page.

Way too much white space... you should definitely try to fill it out with some more bullets, but your language proficiency is a HUGE plus as is your work and study abroad as others mentioned. I would try to use the M&I template, honestly. I know it's the easiest advice to give, and I give it very frequently, but it's simply because it is one of the best resume templates I've seen. The M&I template is both aesthetically pleasing, and functional. Good luck in your career pursuits; the res is good, just fill it out a bit more and it will be great.

Thank you SO much as I had no idea if this was a good or bad CV. The format I hadn't realized it was modified by uploading, the format I was using was the M&I one, now it should be showing up correctly on razume. http://www.razume.com/documents/18292

Do you think I should mention the modeling career? I was told it could do more harm than good, but it did help me finance my tuition fees. I am just afraid my work experience is insufficient and should perhaps add more student associations I was in?

Thank you again for the replies, so grateful to have some advice and critique!

If you're a woman, definitely don't mention the modeling career. It's a toss up if you're a man.

HR is mostly (insecure, lazy, incompetent) women

Good Luck!

yes am a woman, so will take that off and just leave that I financed my tuition fees through part time work during my studies!

Thanks again!
