Would you list ongoing training on your CV?

Hi, I was accepted for a postgraduate masters course. I am not expected to be awarded the degree for at least another 12 months probably more with dissertation marking and award ceremonies. Would you list such a degree on your CV as "in progress"? Personally, I can see benefits and drawbacks, the biggest drawback is that an employer might not want you to focus on anything but the job. But the benefit is that I want to avoid such employers and not waste time with them. Another benefit is that I communicate my interest and motivations and I've put my money where my mouth is. On the other hand, if I were successful at a job and they did know about my extra curriculars, this could lead to a super weird situation I had some time ago when I worked in one company where a colleague who found out I was doing private study was extra difficult about it - out of spite or something, I don't know.
