Am I good enough for LSE Msc Finance?

  • GPA: 3.88 at HEC Montreal. Top 3 Canadian Business School.
  • Double Major in Finance & Economics.
  • GMAT: 710 (Q.45 V.41)
  • IELT: 7.5 overall
  • Three recommendations letters:
    • One from a FX Trader and Ex-Economist at the Central Bank of Canada. Was my teacher.
    • One from a Macroeconomic and International Finance Scholar, studided at Bocconi. Was my teacher.
    • One from the Investment VP of a big canadian private's firm pension fund (2 Billion AUM)
  • Three internships:
    • One as an Alternative Investments Analyst at the Pension Fund mentionned above.
    • One as an Econometrics & Investment Analyst in an Argentinian Start-Up
    • One as a Business Intelligence Analyst in a luxury company in Paris, France.
  • CFA Level 1 Candidate (will pass it in December)

  • 22 years old, French National, Ethnic minority (Half Arab), Male.
  • International Volunteering in Colombia, Medellin, helping children.
  • Lived in 5 countries, speaking fluently 3 languages.
  • Ice Hockey French National Championship under 18.
  • Argentine Tango Dancer, will participate to the Canadian Championship next year.

I would like to enter into London IB market. I was told LSE is top pick for that. Do you think I get a shot at it? What about Oxford Msc Financial Economics? HEC? Bocconi? IE?
I will apply for September 2019 entry. When do you think would be the bes ttime to apply?
