Congrats on two great acceptances!
Bocconi is a great Euro school and if you see yourself studying further in Europe/US, it would be vastly easier to start there as an undergrad. I would look at the under-representation of your cultural peers as a strong positive instead of a negative. If you want to work / study in the west after, it helps to not have a large contingent of similar international students to fall back on. I find it almost comical when international students study at a school in a very different culture, only to solely socialize with ppl from their background and then fail at interviews / graduate school interviews after. If you spend your undergrad at Bocconi, you'll be able to traverse both western and eastern cultures easily. This becomes much harder later on in life, such as grad school.
Italians are also super friendly ppl, so don't worry about the social life at Bocconi.
Good luck!
Thank u very much for ur advice and sorry for the late reply. While finally I chose Waseda, this comment is really thought-provoking. Actually, it's my second bachelor degree so I wish to have a good college experience. As my observation, Bocconi is more like a research institution rather than a real college and almost everyone studying there is suffering, imo if most people are unhappy it cannot be regarded as a good place to study at. The only thing I regret is as you said, i might lose an opportunity to get involved in western culture at my best age but Waseda also has exchange programs so I can spend a year in an america uni which can make it up to me. Anyway, thanks a lot and it's really helpful!
Get out of your comfort zone and have a time! You've named only western locations for your future endeavors so it makes just as much sense to go to Bocconi imo but at the end of the day nothing wrong with Waseda either.

Waseda is a mixed bag. I am very familiar with their English programs, so feel free to DM
Hi! I heard the academic levels of students are quite uneven at Waseda also it's really a much bigger university than Bocconi. But I am just wondering and worrying about if I will lose the opportunity to get into a top20 econ phd program(which is doable at Bocconi) after graduate there. (cuz studying economics at Japan seems like an academic-suicide...)
Getting into BBs (TYO office) from Waseda is very doable for Japanese natives. As a foreigner, going to Waseda SILS will open doors for you at BBs only if you develop N1-level Japanese, and even then your options will most likely be limited to Sales & Trading.
If you are interested in IBD, working anywhere except Tokyo straight out of UG, or want to go to grad school in the US/Europe, look elsewhere.
BESS to AQR…
lol
After a PhD I mean, what's wrong with it?
Don’t be afraid of Bocconi and Milan. I’ve been living here for 3 years, and the most common surname is now Chinese ! The community is very heterogeneous. Make your choice only basing on program and career offer, don’t worry about social inclusion

Yes, I recognize when I post it I'm kind of nervous but now I think I have overcome it and even be excited to have an adventurously Milanese journey. I just don't like the school and huge competition there with no campus experience, but it is an another story.

Hi, if you choose Waseda then stick with it. It is a fantastic university with great atmosphere. Bocconi is very academic and I think that Waseda will fit you much better. Do not listen to people that try to say none sense to convince you to chose the other. All the best, no regrets ;)
Thanks for your empathy. Waseda is definitely one of the coolest universities I've ever seen in terms of campus experience. It's just my program not as prestigious as the one of Bocconi, which sometimes makes me feeling I'm short-sighted and carpe diem.
