Bottom Target MBA - Thoughts On Waiting Out the Storm in Accounting?
Hi All,
I am a 2nd-year MBA at a bottom target school. Ive had a fair share of MM superdays this year and last but struggling to lock a FT associate role up as a lot of MM HR has the wait and see option based on summers accepting or not and pending turnover to gauge headcount needs. I am starting to consider taking a individual contributor Accounting or Sr. Financial Analyst role in FP&A then recruiting once the market flips in '24 or '25 or 'tbd.
Is this a bone headed move that will yield no shot at recruiting into a solid MM associate role in the boom year or could there be value in just waiting it out in accounting?
Sorry dumb question I know but its an odd market and tough for those passionate about the industry but not able to lock something down.
What's a bottom target MBA??? M7???
Imo you would be dead in the water.
