Decision: UCSD MFin vs UIUC MSF

As an international student from Taiwan with two years of experience working in a futures company, I am facing a tough decision between two schools for my Master's in Finance:

UC San Diego:
Pro:
* High school ranking and strong Quantitative Finance curriculum
* Competitive average admissions standards
* Cons: Limited finance opportunities compared to Chicago or the East region
UIUC:
* Long-standing reputation and proximity to Chicago's financial industry
* Cons: Rural location and distance from other finance hubs

Both schools offer strong finance programs and STEM designations. I hope to get some good insights!
