Esade vs Durham

Hey guys, first of all thanks for taking a look at the post and this is kind of urgent since I have to make a decision super quick. So as stated by the title, here is where I am sitting. I have to pick between Esade's BBA / BAIB (bachelor in artificial intelligence for business) dual degree or Durham's BSc in finance. I'm an international student money isn't really an issue and my goal is to ultimately end up in either tech as a software dev or as a consultant in a big 3 or FO analyst at BB I don't really care where. So here is what I think about both so first of all ESADE:

  • 5 year program and its super new
  • Weak placement (On LinkedIn despite only being a business school and having a bunch a student they are weak in FO IB)
  • Hard to get a job as an international student (Spanish IB only hire spaniards)
  • Highly ranked and know (so easy to get a master else where)
  • studying AI would be good (the BAIB program is kind of like a CS degree)

Now Durham:

  • BSc Finance is not that sought after (will be crushed by STEM and Econ)
  • The unit places well on LinkedIn but not for this specific degree
  • Finance isn't as future proof (scared of AI)
  • Only 3 years
  • less well know internationally

Durham being in the UK will be better recognized and it be easier for you to find a job. For bachelor Durham is solid. ESADE is good for its MBA

But its just that at Durham I didnt get into economics just finance so its not as well regarded for IBD also I got into economics and finance at bristol and economics at nottingham so Im thinking of switching to Nottingham. Like you know its better to be the king on the hill and being like a econ grad at nottingham the banks woyld directly aim at me than be like the bottom feeder on the mountain so Durham where I would be the second choice behind econ english and STEM grads.
