Hi cro888, check out these resources:
More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Experience is good and GMAT if >700 good too. Spend some time on the apps and should will be fine. Wouldn´t advice you to consider german BS unless you speak german.
One additional question so I hope you can answer it... As it is written in the headline, I am currently pursuing 2-years MSc in Bank and Finance at non-target school at University of Ljubljana in Slovenia (nontarget, but pretty challenging courses which is good cause I will be well prepared for future target B-schools). The only purpose of applying for another B-school after I finish my current Master is to enter high finance (IB), and I am of course choosing 1-year program, specifically HEC Paris. Now, when I will end my Master in Slovenia, I will be 25 years old. The question is: Is it too late to apply for HEC MSc International Finance if you are 25/26yo?
My plan is to finish HEC in 1 year and try at Unicredit Austria (they have a pretty good team and are strong for deals in SEE Region, and analyst salary is acceptable for me in repaying the HEC loan assuming I will not receive any scholarship, so cca €55k loan. The other is, of course, to try London. However, I would prefer Vienna because this is the region of Europe where I come from. Oh yeah, I want to highlight that before enrolling the HEC MSc, I will have work experience at KPMG Deal Advisory and Unicredit in Croatia or Austria internship.
Thanks in advance
HEC Paris is only horribly difficult to get in if you're French. As an international student with solid work experience you do stand a good chance. Ace that GMAT (I'd say 690+) and you should be good to go

Regarding your age, being 25/26 years old is not a problem when applying to the HEC MSc Intl Finance programme. I think that the only programmes that put a limit on the age of their applicants are the MiM programmes
Except for Bocconi, HSG and HEC, everything else on that list would be achievable if you put together a proper application.
Idk but Bocconi seems to be anal about GPA. For HEC, you should target a 710+ GMAT (I’m assuming Croatia isn’t an over represented country in the pool of applicants) and it should be doable. Can’t speak for HSG but shouldn’t be difficult if you can get into HEC
What about RSM (Rotterdam school of management)? Is it worth it. Will it open the doors to IB in Soitheastern Europe, or in western Europe (London, Frankfurt) in emerging markets teams?
For it's price, RSM is an excellent university. I would say it will help for Germany and the Netherlands. Also, doable for London but it will be more difficult, you better have some good internships and some good grades but it is feasible.
Hope it helps :)
Lot of people keep bringing up high GMAT as a requirement, bringing in anecdotal evidence, friend of mine from an Asian country (usually well represented country and an overly represented background) broke into HEC with a 640 GMAT. Apparently he had a good story. So keep trying even if you don’t hit that GMAT score.
HSG MBF requires a GMAT >= 680 to apply

No one cares, I‘m almost 26 and start at a LC PE
GMAT at 700 is neutral for HEC. Anything over will be a positive, anything under will need to be justified/compensated by another element in your application
You should be fine on the experience side, the Dean's List helps on the academics.
I think you could get in if you craft a good application

25/26 is not too old, and HEC doesn't cost 55k as far as I'm aware.
Can i ask why are you pursuing ms in international finance as u already have ms in finance? To go high finance? Or to shift to another country
To go high finance and earn more, no matter where that would be - in Croatia, or in other countries...
cro888 Hey man! If I may ask, did you make it in HEC eventually?
I have a similar profile and was wondering.
