Fin. Math vs MBA
Currently work in Capital Markets. Studied Finance in undergrad. Would love to develop more quantitative skills but don’t necessarily want to be a quant. What are your thoughts on how useful it would be studying Financial Mathematics over an MBA to break into global macro/rates strategy/rates trading? Would love some guidance. Thanks.
Take the Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance route, you already have some experience.
Depends on the MBA program. Harvard or Stanford are probably not ideal. Finance schools like Wharton, Booth, CBs, NYU are decent enough to break in.
