How strong of a school is Rutgers University?
This week, my group decided to interview numerous prospects from Rutgers University. I have not heard much about this college prior to this week. No people on my team graduated from there either, and the handful of people I spoke with were not very impressive, but I may have limited data points.
Does anyone have an idea if this a good school or a feeder program into any banks? I see its ranked decently high.
From what I’ve seen, Rutgers is a state school where typically a student with a mid 1200 to 1300 student gets accepted.
Not very prestigious and has major “Townie” energy based on what one of my close HS friends told me (he graduated from there). I didn’t really know what he meant when he described that to me but have a link that actually describes it quite well:

Of course you can find bright kids from there and some are in fact going to be great additions to your team, but your average grad there, not so much.
