LSE MSc Management, Organisations and Governance (MOG) vs Imperial College MSc Management
MSc Management, Organisations & Governance - London School of Economics and Political Science
MSc Management - Imperial College London
I would like to hear if anyone has any experience of either program as I have offers from both.
GPA: 3.7
Undergrad: Political Science with Economics from a good UK uni
Various internship experiences from diplomacy to financial services. Secured a place with a BB for this summer. My intention is to eventually transition into consulting.
I am worried the LSE programme is too PoliSci oriented vs Imperial which is strictly business. Outside the UK LSE has a superior reputation and alumni network. Does this make LSE the better choice? I mean, in 5 years I don't think anyone will be looking at how many accounting courses you took at postgrad level?
Hint: Imperial has more technical coursework
I am not from the UK myself (EU citizen) with an intention to eventually work elsewhere - so far I've lived in 5 countries and speak 4 languages fluently.
Both programmes are 12 months as many MSc programmes tend to be very intensive in the UK. I opted not to apply for the 2 year MiM at LSE because I found the info session a joke in addition to the ridiculous cost of attending an additional year. Although Imperial College is a top ranking university I am unsure of its rep and network when it comes to business.
Any advice would be MUCH appreciated. Have to make a decision in the next 10 days.
Happy Chinese New Year lads!
