Thumbs down. Sounds like yet another program created to generate revenue for the school, but I'd hate to be the guinea pig with no history to draw on to solidify my own end result.

 

Looks interesting. You might also be interested in the new mining-focused MBA program at Schulich. Working in the mining industry, I notice there's a lot more sector-specific knowledge needed for people in finance that deal with this industry compared to others. A lot of ER and IB folks that deal with us are former geologists and mining engineers. I imagine this program would give you leg up in understanding this industry compared to your peers. When I see analysts visit our mine who have clearly never been underground before (and lack basic mining knowledge), it looks really pathetic.

 

You should also know that I am from Europe and I have no work experience so this program is not well suited for me. Thank you for the comment though, I will keep it in mind
