Need help deciding Master of Finance for Investment Banking
I am currently working at a boutique tech consulting firm in NYC from a west coast non-target (but top 50). I have been trying to break into IB but have not made it through yet.
I got accepted into the Emory MAF, Georgetown MSF, and Imperial College London MF&A.
What school is the strongest when it comes to strongest opportunities and network?
I am fine living wherever I get placed.
Other personal details left out for personal reasons.
GTown. Not only does it have the best alumni network and placements out of the 3, but it would also offer an internship which can be valuable.
Georgetown if you want to work in the US, Imperial if you want to work in the UK.
Imperial for the brand name. People outside US don’t know GT and emory
Georgetown as salaries are way higher in the US... You will never ever get that in London vs New york for instance... Good luck
Imperial is a much stronger brand name. Then it depends if you’d prefer to work in the US or London.
Georgetown
