Non-target 3 years -> MSF?

Hello,

I am currently a rising sophomore at a non-target UC school (UCSB, UCSD, UCI). Due to the quarter system and coming in with AP credits, I will be able to graduate with my major and a finance minor in 3 years which has led me to consider a MSF program. I am currently targeting IB and am fortunate enough to not have to worry about the extra year of tuition. However, I was not as focused as I needed to be freshman year and ended with a 3.2 gpa. In an attempt to get back on track, I have taken summer classes and landed a fall search fund internship that I will complete during the upcoming school year.

If I am able to raise my gpa to around or just below a 3.5 by the end of my sophomore year (which should be doable) and I score well on the gmat, would it be reasonable to graduate in 3 years, complete a MSF, and then make the jump to an IB role? Would graduating in 3 years be advantageous at all? Vandy would be ideal but I am also looking into USC and other slightly lower tier programs. I am also hoping to land finance internships for next two summer which I am hoping will help (something along the lines of boutique IB, PE, F500 CorpFin, Val). I appreciate any input regarding how realistic this plan is.
