OHIO STATE MSF VS ARIZONA STATE MSF VS UT DALLAS MSF
Hey guys,
Which of those programs/business schools is the best for a MSF?
Also, is it possible to get into some IB/PE firms (Preferably in Texas or California)? (Does not need to be BB or Large cap PE or so) - Transaction internships at BIG4 are existing
I appreciate your insights!!

Hey there!
Based on the most helpful WSO content, all three programs you mentioned - Ohio State, Arizona State, and UT Dallas - have their own strengths and are well-regarded. However, it's important to consider factors such as your career goals, location preferences, and the network you'd like to build.
As for breaking into IB/PE firms, it's definitely possible from these programs, although the ease can vary. Texas, for instance, has a strong finance industry and UT Dallas might offer good networking opportunities there. Similarly, Ohio State has a solid reputation and could provide opportunities in the Midwest and beyond.
Remember, internships and practical experience are key in these fields, so your BIG4 transaction internships will certainly be valuable.
Ultimately, the "best" program will depend on your personal goals and circumstances. I'd recommend reaching out to alumni or current students from these programs to get a better sense of what might be the best fit for you. Good luck!
