roadmap for IB from high school

Hello all,

This is my first post ever on this forum. I am a junior in high school, set to graduate summer of '25. Currently, I am based in Toronto, Canada.

I have been researching on getting into IB (a field I am most passionate about) and couldn't find as many useful resources as I would like. Most sites just said to get a business degree in university, but I am guessing theres more to it than that. In any of your personal experiences, what would be the optimal roadmap to getting into IB directly out of university? And what are some things I could do/skills I could learn NOW to enhance my chances of getting into the industry?

Thanking you all in advance!

Get good grades, get into Western Ivey AEO or Queen's Commerce, learn what industry is like through WSO posts and all, get into the good clubs at Ivey or Queen's, be sociable and make lots of other ambitious friends, go through standard routes of getting search fund/boutique IB internships and then recruiting well come time for SA recruiting.
