University of Hong Kong - Master of Finance (for overseas student)

I'm a senior econ major at non-hyp ivy. I want to work in HK but I was dinged fot FT interviews. I'm considering applying to the MFin program at UHK (aka HKU). I like the curriculum (traditional finance with financial engineering) and I'm thinking it wouldn't be too hard to get a finance job after completing it since HKU is a top school in hong kong. Am I wrong? I am not ethnically asian and I would likely stand out amongst mostly chinese students. Also I don't speak mandarin or cantonese.

Discuss and tell me whether this is a good idea. I don't want a full MFE program and I'm not competitive for the two top MFin programs in the USA (princeton and MIT). However, I heard that most top HK slots get taken up by students in top US universities and only a small precentage are reserved for local university students- is this true? How do you think I would fare if I went there?

I have an email from a Chinese student telling me the the MSF at Guanghua is the best for mainland. I do realize you are talking about HK, but I would check into both before you decide. What are the language requirements?
