Way into corporate banking post-MBA
I will be starting my MBA later this year and am considering pivoting into corporate banking. Problem is that my background is completely unrelated to financial services. I am also international so I would need visa sponsorship.
As a result I'm thinking that in order to work in corporate banking in the US, I would need to start in IB first and then pivot after 1-2 years.
Does this sound right, and if so, what groups in IB makes the most sense to make the transition easiest?
