What is the benefit?

Hello Everyone,

I am a graduate with a major in Economics and a minor in Business. I am looking into a second degree and would like your advice. I always wanted to do the JD/MBA but have been going between just getting one or the other. What would you suggest is the benefit of pursuing the JD in the corporate world since that is what I am leaning towards?

Thank you so much for your advice!

My ex-fiance was a JD/MBA and his base is lower than his tuition debt working in compliance for a two-letter bank. If you get enough financial aid, I would say go ahead bc you can literally walk right into a bank. If you have to borrow the money I would recommend spending that 3.5 years working your way up and impressing the right people. Nowadays one cent above 100k in tuition debt is just too risky.

i dont understand why we have to justify you getting an jd/mba. If you need strangers to help you justify then you are in a bigger trouble than you could ever imagine in life

Google and you can find some reasons out there about a JD/MBA. Best bet

Thank you very much for your input thus far everyone.

Actually, validation/justification for the degree is not need but it is interesting to gather opinions once a rhetorical question like this is posed. I respect the opinion of the users here as well.

Thanks again for your feedback. I look forward to hearing more responses!

Regards

WS Whiz
