Which programme should I pick?
Hello there,
This will be the last time I ask about degrees and whether my degree is suitable. Recently I was offered a place to study an Integrated Masters in Chemical Engineering (MEng) at UCL. It’s a four year programme and seems pretty good imo. I also have an offer to study Finance BSc at Durham. For someone looking to break in, which is stronger?
Thanks
UCL Chem Eng. UCL STEM degrees do weirdly well for recruiting, better than the finance/econ programmes even.
Would you say there is much merit in me doing a MEng or is it viewed upon the same as a BEng in finance. If I end up going into Eng as a career I’ll do an MSc regardless
master's are pretty irrelevant in finance. you only do one if you failed to get a job and need another year to recruit.
