Worth it to apply to MPhil?
I'm interested in pursuing either a JD or MBA or both. Was wondering whether anyone has heard about the MPhil in Economics at Cambridge and whether it's worth applying to if one is interested in doing law or business afterwards. Seems to me like the program is geared more towards PhD-oriented students. I'm interested in furthering my economics education but I ultimately want to go to law or business school and don't know whether the MPhil will be looked upon as something that will help me in that respect.
Well, it's only a year and it's not going to hurt your chances since it's generally a research orientated degree.
I imagine if you get heavily involved in the Cambridge campus and do well it could be very beneficial if you chose to apply to the joint JD/MBA program from Harvard and Cambridge (Talk about one beastly program)
