AMAZON vs BCG

I've worked in the AdTech and MarTech industries for more than 10 years. I am a tier 2 middle manager(Tech) at a product firm in Europe.
I have two offers:
A > Senior Solution Architect with AWS.

B > Expert Consultant with BCG.

Which one should I pick for long-term growth?

You should ask this on Blind instead of WSO

Also, what’s the TC?

My opinion is, if the BCG role is for tech consulting (like tech implementation, digital transformation), then definitely choose Amazon AWS. This is because MBB is good at traditional strategy consulting, not tech consulting. And AWS is the future of tech transformations

If the BCG role is for strategy consulting, then choose BCG. Strategy consulting is way more interesting than solution architect and it will set you up well for all non-technical leadership roles. Solution architect involves many boring project management and client service kinda work that is neither as technically-challenging as pure software engineer nor as strategic as pure strategy consulting. In short, it’s an awkward mixture of non-technical role and technical role that gets looked down upon both by pure technical role (SWE) and by pure non-technical roles (strategy consulting)

BCG offered me an expert consultant role. I will be working on digital strategy projects. The Amazon offer is 25% higher than the one from BCG. I can not post it on blind, I work in UK and my company email doesn't give me write access to blind.
