Are there any Sales and Trading teams in either Nashville or Miami?

Was wondering if Nashville specifically had any Sales and Trading teams? I know they have a handful of small hedge funds, but I was unsure if there were any S&T teams? Looking to become a trader, specifically in commodities or equities. Miami is my plan B if none are there.

Highly doubt there’s anything in Nashville that’s not a boiler room. Miami has some LatAm focused FX and commodities exchange teams, but even then any huge orders at a BB trading team will go through the New York office, they’re just better equipped.

Your best shot to be in the south (besides Houston) in S&T is Charlotte. WF and Truist have trading floors there, BofA might have some but I think most has moved to NYC and there’s some other smaller firms with S&T around there (LPL, Millennium Advisors, etc). Might be some in Atlanta but nothing compared to Charlotte (and Charlotte is obviously nothing compared to nyc)

Louis Dreyfus has their cotton desk in Memphis.  Heated discussion on it on WSO a couple months ago
