Best degree for S/T?

I am currently enroute CFA and CBV and wondering for those of you who work in the industry what would be the best graduate degree to hold to get into s/t? I am deciding between MBA finance/eco, masters in finance, or masters in financial engineering?

To be honest, most traders dont have graduate degrees. You learn all that is relevent to the field on the job . Don't forget, when/ if you even get into trading at a BB, you will be an assistant for a while before you get your own book. Once you do, 90% of what you will be trading is flow. They wont let junior guys take on much risk at all. Those degrees might come in handy later on in your career if you break into prop at the BB. I think anything beyond your CFA is total overkill. I would say more sales people have advanced degrees. At least where i work. Don't waste your time with all that other stuff. Focus on getting into the business before you worry about grad degrees.

I agree, most traders dont have postgraduate qualifications. However, if you choose to exit to hedge funds a CFA is preferred by employers.
