DA vs Virtuals Help (Physical Power noob question)

If I submit DA import offers and get picked up but don't flow power then I am settled against real-time.

Having virtuals lets you get the same exposure but you have to tag it differently I think.

Can someone pls help me with putting on DA and not flowing that vs putting on virtuals and how can I learn to tag virtual bids/offers (obviously will have to read the business practises manual for that but any other resource helps too).

I am comfortable flowing physical power hourly but have been given the responsibility to do DA and can ask for limits on virtuals. I would have felt stupid asking this question at work so wanted to give it a shot here. Looking to do this in MISO/NYISO/SPP.

Pls ask any follow ups if my explantation doesnt make sense. Thank you for your inputs.

Interesting. Thanks, I think you answered my question.

So DA you only trade that node/hub. Say I am long Michigan hub in DA then I sell back that in rt and settle for the price difference if I haven't tagged that physically and move the power vs virts you need to have a pair trade so every long should be matched with a short to put a virtual on?

Is that correct or what you meant? Thanks again for your time. I really appreciate your help.
