Front Office Quant pay at banks?
Hey guys I've seen a lot of compensation threads for IB and S&T folks but nothing really for quants at banks. I'm entering as an Associate 0/1 at a Big 5 Canadian bank for some strats team (team selection not finalized yet). I was just wondering what the typical annual/performance bonus is for front office quants, I'm guessing it's somewhere between 20-50% of the base? I'll start off with my TC:
Base: 145k
Signing Bonus: 45k
Annual Bonus: ???

irrelevent question:) all those strats roles only applicable for ms/phds?
anecdotally knew some ppl on the floor that were strats from undergrad, but seemed to be ms/phds more often that not
