Insights on StoneX?
Anyone heard anything about this firm?
Zilch on here and and one short comment on r/FinancialCareers. Seems low for a firm that seems to have done well in the markets recently and is of quite a large size (4000 emp, $2bn MC).
They are a Broker Dealer specialising in Commercial hedging and Commodities but do have fully fledged market services for FIC, FX etc.
Their head of Global Macro (Vincent Deluard) has some interesting views on sustained inflation (roughly 4%) for the rest of the decade. Heard him on Forward Guidance (blockworks) podcast. First time I heard about StoneX.
Seems to have gone downhill in certain products in the past few years
Decent little fixed income business, they are a mid-tier regional not a ton of balance sheet but they pick their spots with it and will underwrite deals here and there. They hire out of undergrad for S&T there which is rare for the regionals. Good place to get your foot in the door and maybe move to a larger platform down the line.
Can I message you?
