UK easiest timezone for 24/7 desks?

I’m based in Asia and I realsied that the UK guys in my team have it pretty good. We are a 24/7 trading desk, so we take turns passing the book.

waht I realise is,

HK comes in the morning say 730am, and solos it till around 4pm till UK gets in, effectively solo 9 hours or so

UK takes solo for the next 5 hours or so, but then US is on and then they are solo for about 7 hours.

it just seems to me that UK has it pretty easy in such a set up by virtue of their timezone and being the middle timezone. In terms of global calls etc they also always will have it during their working hours. Curious to hear what everyone else’s experience is
