Chemistry Undergrad for VCs
I am tired of RE and working towards another undergraduate degree in Chem or premed for the end-game of being in lifesci/med device VC. I understand any major with "engineering" at the end of it is supreme but I don't have the time or mental acuity of a 19-year old undergrad anymore.
What's the ideal second undergrad for VC in medical device VC?
Maybe don’t change degree but start looking for additional work in med tech or start looking to join projects that are in the med tech space?
This. I don't think VCs care what your Major is after you already have a degree. Don't waste money on a degree that means little in your situation.
Go work at a Med-tech company for a few years and join a few non-profits in the space to build your credibility.
Hm, what I have seen the VCs I do talk to say they don't GAF but wind up hiring doctorate degree holders.
How do I join non-profits in medtech? I chair a nonprofit in a diffierent field, hasn't helped me a second but maybe that's just beacuse we're small
Thanks!
Why would engineers trust a finance/marketing dude over another BME
