Early Stage VC -> MBA -> ?
It seems like the consensus take is that an MBA lets you pivot, but not to such an extent that you can just do anything you want after the MBA, because the pre-MBA experience matters a lot as well.
What would be possible for someone who did 1-3 years of early stage (seed/A) VC out of undergrad -> HSW MBA? Could you land in later stage venture after that, or even something more different than that? Or are you likely confined to early stage venture or something entrepreneurial afterward?
I'm talking about this with a few people who are at various types/sizes of VC funds out of undergrad and wondering the same, which I assume influences the answer here. I guess I'd be curious in the answer for two scenarios, one where the fund is 1) a top-tier fund (Sequoia, Accel, etc.) where you're just sourcing for those 1-3 years versus 2) a less known fund (but still $500M-1B AUM) where you have more autonomy but arguably less branding/signal.
I know this is a super specific question, but would resolve lots of questions and conversations I've had with people in these spots, including myself, so any answer would be much appreciated.
