KKR TMT Growth Equity
Was wondering if anyone had any experience interviewing with KKR's TMT growth equity team in SF for an ANALYST position. Would appreciate any insight on the group, what they do, and types of questions they would ask in their analyst interviews -- thanks!
I haven't worked in KKR but have worked with them: an incredibly sharp group, and they would regularly be in the office at 4am. From the outside, it looks like an impressive place to get your start.
Folks should realize a MF role is more stressful and equal if not longer hours at time than banking, generally speaking. It is of course group dependent based on your firm but you can expect a life that isn't a kickback from banking in terms of work life balance. Needs to be made very clear on this forum (think it has but reiterating)
Is this also true with the Growth Equity arm of an MF?
My naive impression is that the culture/WLB is more similar to traditional GE shops rather than MF PE
Didn't do GE so can't say unfortunately.
Unfortunately, the hours in GE at a MF (both KKR and Blackstone) have terrible hours comparable to sweatshops at banking. A lot of times I would get emails from them at ~2/3 am.
But the pro of working at a MF is that pay is going to be roughly in line with PE pay.
Bump!
Bump!
Any insight into KKR healthcare strategic growth too?
