Chances of going from Deloitte ERS to investment banking?

I'm currently finishing up an internship with Deloitte's ERS group. I will be going back to school for 4th year finishing up an engineering degree at a non-targeted school. Unfortunately I messed up first year and that killed my CGPA, which is sitting at 3.3, but my GPA for 2nd and 3rd year has been 3.9+ and consistently ranked top 5 in my class. After meeting a few bankers on the job I got interested in the financial sector as a career choice. First choice is investment banking but I'm open to other areas as well.

My question is that with my background what are my chances of breaking into the industry? (BB, Big 5 in Canada, or a good boutique firm) and if there's any ways for me to increase those chances? If there really aren't any good opportunities then are there other career paths that may be suitable?
